Acorn Editions was founded in 2017 by Paula Boswell, Katharine Shields, and Marc Elliott who have a combined 77 years of photographic experience. That experience began in the era when the photographic art world revolved around small scale gelatin silver prints, made primarily by the artists themselves, and moved through the eras of color, big color, even bigger color, and analog/digital hybridism to the present.
At Acorn, we work closely with artists, galleries, collectors, institutions, and image makers of all kinds. We scan, edit, print and coordinate exhibition preparation including mounting, framing and logistics, all under one roof in our Saxonville, MA studio. We help our clients to realize their vision with skill, experience, and care.
Acorn Editions produces high quality archival inkjet prints up to 64" wide on a variety of standard and fine art papers. We scan negatives and reflective media from 35mm up to 12 x 17 inches. Larger documents or pieces of art can be photographed in our on-site copy studio.
Acorn has partnered with A Street Frames to provide in-house mounting, framing, and delivery services.
Acorn Editions is located on the 2nd floor of Building 2 in the Saxonville Mills complex in Framingham, MA. There is often parking (P) available right outside the entrance (↘) to our building, with additional parking in the lot on Watson Place.
